Well been awhile for me to be back here, I just bought this 2016 Tacoma 2x4. It is not the base but a step up, I was wanting to put a Cobalt toolbox on it and want to know where to get the mounts?.. Don't want to drill in the bed so anybody know where to get the no drill ones at?... Thanks..

Look at that shiny new red truck. Congratulations. Does your truck have the bedrail system in it? I'd look for a way to utilize that rail if you have it.

I used a Better Built toolbox and Better Built Grip Rite mounts. No drilling, but I had to take a bandsaw to the Grip Rite mounts to make them into T-nuts that would slide into the factory bed rails. Very secure and very easy removal if needed. Mounts are some sort of plastic so sawing them is easy.
