I have a 2015 Access Cab Entune Plus (plus other stuff) and have linked the my Samsung Galaxy S5 to it.

The phone works well, my contacts sync and calls work quite well via bluetooth. Text messaging works exactly as expected.

I did a search both here and on Google (so I tried looking before asking).

Does anyone here know how to get the Entune system to recognize and read emails with the Gmail client on the phone?

I suspect that email functionality would be provided with the stock email client that Samsung provides, but I greatly prefer the Gmail client since I am a paid Google apps user.

Thanks in advance for any help.

Same issue here. Would also like it to link with Hangouts, as it is my default messaging app.

Did you ever find out? My new phone (Nexus 6) works for texts, but I no longer get emails. I could with my old HTC One. I am still scratching my head.
When I go to where you can see listed texts the email selection is missing.
