    The 4banger is dying! Ok, not quite dying...but I would love the extra power. Depending on costs to fix my engine, it might not be worth it.

    Yes
    Those tools mainly just fold the fender lip over flat for little tuner cars that need that 1/4" of clearance for their 1" tall tires. You really can't stretch metal without using serious tools like an English wheel and even then you are limited...your not going to flare them enough to actually clear your tires.

    So after removing the inner fender liner where did you guys extend your intake location to? I managed to collapse an air filter sucking in lots of snow.

    Seems like the best bet would be to relocate the end of the intake tube inside the engine compartment in the winter time. A lot of the aftermarket intakes just land the cone filter under the hood...

    Not entirely sure, possibly from sucking in dirt like the current convo in here. There is more in my build on it and really a bit much for me to type again :laugh:. Essentially it's drinking oil faster than I can put it in.
