2005 Tacoma gen 2 with tow package
My gen 2. 2005 Tacoma 4x4 has 144000 miles on it. I bought it new with the factory tow package. We are thinking of getting a small travel trailer (<3000 lbs).
After going through the towing bible, I think I need the following things.
    1. Transmission cooler
    2. Trailer brake system
    3. Antisway bars
    4. Some mods on the rear leaf spring? Not clear about that.
Can somebody give me a ballpark estimate on what this may cost? I live in Houston.
    Thanks in advance...

You should have the trans cooler already as part of the OEM tow package.

Also with that high of mileage you'd probably want something to help support the rear end load - Firestone Ride Rite airbags are under $300 and can be installed in your driveway in a pair of hours.
