I bought my son an Inferno SR5 on the 29th. Added oem steps and 17" wheels and 285/70/16 tires. No lift no rub. image.jpg
I went back on Jan 2nd and got lucky by picking myself up this silver off-road edition that someone ordered and the deal fell through. So now I'm the proud owner of two tacos.

You bought your son a truck? What the hell did he do to deserve that?

    Congrats! Hope you enjoy it!

Fair warning, in my less then 24 hrs of being on this forum, there are a TON of pricks on here. If you need any help, I would suggest finding a different website.

It's a bad picture of the off-road I need to take another.

My son is 17 he owns his own lawn care business he's a great student and pays his own insurance up front every six months. You only have them for a little while, might as well spoil them.

There are a few pricks, true, but by using the "ignore" feature you are never bothered by them again. For every prick there are 10 helpful people. There's lots of great folks here!

You saw the response I was getting on my post about looking to buy.

Way more then 1 and 10. It was about 5 out of 10.

I hope it gets better, but I was floored by the reaction I got.

Exactly…and I've seen maybe 2-3 cranky cocky posters here, and had one take one of my posts really personal, but this site has given me SOOOO many good ideas, and every day I learn something new….great site in my opinion!

I want my boys to drive beaters. No use in them getting an idea they're hot shit when they're still kids. But hopefully your son won't let it go to his head.

Some of the 2nd gen members are rabid and not happy with the direction Toyota took with the 3rd gen, and wrongfully think it's okay to take it out on those who are coming to TacomaWorld specifically because of the 3rd gen. Then there are the diesel freaks - ugh.

I likely didn't see their posts because I've got a large ignore list.

There are some really good build and BS threads you can participate in. Lurk around, find groups with shared interests, and say hi.

    Hi Chuck!

I've seen that a lot on this site, I'm in middle Tn and the lots all have the sport editions looks like most off roads are by order or pre sale only.
