I have a 2012 Tacoma Prerunner Crew Cab , that came with a high/low wiper stalk ( and no intermittent position on it ) , and I can buy a factory stalk with intermittent on it on Ebay for $128.00 , my questions are 1) how difficult of a job is it to swap the stalk out , and more importantly , # 2 , will the new stalk with intermittent feature on it just plug and play , with no re-wiring , no modifications ? ?

    Same as everybody else...
There's a guy on here that sells them used for like 85 bucks. I swapped mine out and it's super easy, about a 10 minute job and is plug and play. I do recommend you get a plastic part removal tool so you don't dick up the plastic cover on your steering column. Do a search on TW for the seller and the write up.

    it is easy as pie

    plug and play

just pop off steering wheel parts it snaps in place

hardest part is disconnecting battery [so the airbag is much less
likely to explode and rip your head off while doing the work]
