I am just putting this out there to get the universe's buy in.

I have always had a deflector on my truck helps here in AZ when you head up north from the valley.

I am looking at the AVS and they have two that I like Bugflector II and the Hoodflector both cover the same things the only difference is profile which I have no idea what that means since I cannot find a image of either on a truck that I can compare. So if any one has input or suggestions I would appreciate it. Also I have usually had smoke but anyone ever used clear or chrome though I think there would be a glare especially with chrome.

I'm running the oem with rubber strips between mounting clips and hood so no paint damage. A buddy of mine just got a Lund Aeroskin that fits flat on hood with double sided tape. Doesn't even go under the hood in any way to keep it from being stolen or blowing away on frwy if issue with tape. Also no like on that much tape stuck to hood. Also no like on not being able to clean under it. Personal preference tho. I like how the oem sits up off the hood giving more windshield protection even tho less aerodynamic. It also allows me to keep the bottom of it clean and the hood clean underneath it.

I prefer the Bugflector II. It fits the hood better IMO.
Though the name should be Sandflector, because that's the main reason for having one, to keep the edge of the hood from being sandblasted going down the road.

I looks at Aeroskin and want something that changes the wind more, like you I like to be off the hood as well and can clean under it.

Should be able to get an oem one from FS thread here for next to nothing. Generally, people don't care for them much around here.
