    I know. Just saying that the auto has a lower end rpm, hence the reason you can go higher gears with approximately the same end rpm result

    I have 4.56's and 315's with auto tranny. I like it, imo 4.10's would be better for highway though. At 65 I'm sitting right around 2500 at 70 closer to 2800 rpms

    Yes
    For those of you that predominantly run tech rocky trails you should really consider how small that 4.88 ring gear is, it is much weaker and less reliable. The bigger that ratio goes the thinner that gear gets.

    The factory 4.10's out of a stock 4x4 4 banger if you have a sr5 or sport rear end, elocker guys are SOL

    If I had it to do over again I'd get 4.10's and arbs F/R then add a crawl box. Best of both worlds, still "decent" mpgs with 35's but still have plenty of gears for trails and crawling

    4.56 and you're good. I have 4.56's and an auto and I like what I am getting. It feels like stock, the RPMS at 70-75 are not bad and the gas is decent.

    I have to agree with @BulletToothTony, if you wheel a lot get a crawl box.
