And the finished product just need a new strut this was a warn out one from my dad's 03 dodge

 

Can't wait to mount my rtt this weekend and see how it all works together

 

Getting ready for a trip somewhere on the west coast this week mounted the rtt and went for a little run up mt cheam was a little snow

 

That flat bed is looking good!!! So is the rest of the truck.

 

Went on a little trip to the sunshine coast was beautiful so many places to explore

 

So my actuator went out on my transfer case decided to make a cable shifter seen one on here on someone's build but not really much info so I went at it got a 6 ft cable from some dump truck controls and shifter from a Mitsubishi delica added a bit to it to accommodate my cable

Then I made the plate and stand off for the cable on the transfer case with a little sleeve and set bolt to hold the cable to the shaft with out drilling any holes

Then went about bench testing it on a borrowed transfer case worked like clockwork

Then I had to go about mounting it somewhere in the center area Decided to use the further cup holder less interference with my hand and other shifters

Then I just put the Mitsubishi boot under the cut cup holder for now until I figure something else nice
Now to wire a switch to engadge my front diff so it actually works
So far it works awesome

 

Should post up the seal number for the tcase shift rod.

 

It was black and round fit right in the hole

On a serious note though, your truck is sick! I love all the awesome fab work you've done! Great job!

 

Did some tubbing for the rubbin Today
here's what it was like to start with my little notch


Then layd some wet rags under the carpet and moved the computers put of the way cut out the rubbing area


Then apply the patch peice tacked the few lawers of cab together under be for the patch


ground down and added seam sealer


Finished product

Shouldn't rub now

 

About a inch or more cut out of the way No more rubbing

 

Wrapped a few things up today
Finished my filler hole out of the tool box

Also I finished the caps for my uniballs before

Now I added a grease nipple to the top and filled with silicone grease my next set of uniballs should last more the 3 or 4 mths

 

Got a snorkel

Pretty simple install
Some of the holes were a little off but it all worked out



Absolutely love the airflo snorkel

 

Then in preparation for the dunes I built the tray to hold my dirt bike on the back of the deck
The start 3" aluminum c channel

Then I added a lip to hold the front wheel

A few straps aand it was ready to go


Can't wait try on the dunes and camp on the beach
