Any cigar aficionados??

Anyone smoke cigars??


I'm not a daily smoker or anything, but enjoy an occasional cigar with a good drink.

Really??? No one on TW enjoys a cigar??

 

I've been smoking cigars for the better part of 30 years. Started around 12 or so stealing my Uncle's Macanudo Ascots. Currently smoking Perdomos. MY tastes seems to change every few months. I'm in the process of trying to cut down to one a week- for a while I was one or to a day.

 

I smoke them every so often, but my tastes are so lousy that I wouldn't call myself an aficionado by any means, lol. I used to have a couple about every weekend when I was single, but the GF doesn't care much for the smell so I probably only average 1-2 a month now. My roommate at the time and I used to get a Garcia y Vega rum corona (they were all of $1.25 at the local cigar shop, lol) and sit out on the ratty old couch we had on the front porch of our apartment with a beer and watch the traffic go by while we solved the world's problems. Good times.
I still smoke them on the front porch, but now it's at my house and they're usually just a basic Corona or Churchill, like a Montecristo or Macanudo. Although I've found that my tastes have migrated away from lighter tobaccos towards darker maduros over the last few years.

 

You could try reviving this one; you might get more interest.
