I'd guess there will be plenty of empty seats in the trucks doing the various rides, so the 2WD people should be able to catch a ride for the day. Besides, if every truck hit the trails, the rides would be slow-going.

Riding/spotting/taking pictures can be just as fun as driving.

And as said above, we do want to abide by their rules. If not, they won't allow us back next year.

2wd trucks that are parking and camping are not paying, they are considered a passenger in someone else's truck. They can/should contribute towards their ride's fee though. I'll go dig up my post about it.

@Acerwin Ill be leaving NM heading to TN to pick up my GF and then heading down to Gulches. 27 hours, 1755 miles one way...

Some of you aren't going to like this but it needs to be said before it continues.

All of you openly discussing going against the park rules and Skip's wishes (jokingly or not) need to cut the bullshit. It's a private park and the guidelines need to be respected. I won't be a recognized as part of a group (TW.com) that can't follow a few simple rules to protect the Land Owner's investment and to keep traffic jams off the trails. Ever been behind a 2wd on the trail having to gas it through every obstacle? It sucks, I've seen busted windshields from rocks thrown 30' and the trail gets destroyed. Not to mention if park equipment/personnel are required for a recovery of a rig that ends up on a trail it wasn't supposed to be on. Prerunners, come and camp if you want but don't fuck this up for everyone else by "sneaking" on the trails.

    Cheers.

We've worked hard to get this meet going (hoping annual meet) so yeah I don't want it messed up either. I've spent a good bit of money already for the people wanting some patches also so yeah I don't want this meet/trail ride to get messed up over some little bs that isn't really called for...
