    But did you get the solid pinion spacer in the front? I noticed it on Frank's pic and wonder if everyone uses it up front. Seems pointless. Just curious is all

    Still, didn't TRD Sports come with a factory LSD carrier? I wouldn't have thought you'd need to change the carrier just for 4.56s.

    And yes, '05-08 sports have mechanical LSD, but if I'm spending money I might as well upgrade :D

    Looking back at my records it doesn't appear that I have it. Make sense, you'll tear all kinds of other shit up before you get to the pinion.

    Factory LSD's are picky with gear oil and additives, and chattering, and the clutch packs will wear out. The TrueTrac is much simpler, that's pretty much why I decided on it. More traction, but no noise or vibes, or finding out which oil it likes and searching and searching for that oil when it's time for service.

    Save the money on the front diff solid collar and put that toward a double drilled flange in the back, then you can run the older yota driveshafts from the junkyard. Drilling out the pinion flange is a pain in the ass.
