So I found a Cobra Radar Detector I had laying around and decided to install it and do it cleaner than their suction cup mount because (a) I lost the mount and (b) hate them falling off haha. Mainly wanted a clean set up...

So first thing I did was wrap the buttons in black vinyl, since the chrome was peeling. Also feel like it looks better.

Then I went to Five Below remembering they had knock off Go Pro mounts.. Picked up a handlebar mount one.

Mounted it to the mirror and had to break a tab off the Go Pro Mount that I attached to the Radar Detector, so the bolt would be long enough.

Now I just want to remove the hand knobs and replace with smaller bolts so it looks cleaner. Also, ordered a hard wire kit so I can get rid of the cigg. lighter plug.

I have a GoPro camera mounted under the RV mirror, works great.
I use it for a dash cam.
I found a nice bracket online that clamps to the mirror post.

Clever! I wonder if my rear view mirror has any space to do this...

I love my new truck but miss my Tacoma
I did the same thing using a bicycle reflector mount and the existing suction cup mount on my truck. Took off the suction cups and bolted it up to the seat post mount for an old bike. Works beautiful
