Having a wicked weird issue going on with the truck. The four bolts that go through the bed and mount to the frame. The Passenger side bolt closest to the truck keeps coming loose and allowing the bed to bang up and done on the frame whenever I hit bumps. I have been to the dealer once, they took the bolt out and put it back in, fixed it. Well, its loose again. They took it out, threw some thread lock on it, and bolted it back down. Worked for a bit, now the bed is making that noise again. WTF could be causing this? No damage to the bed, nothing has been hit. Starting to piss me off.

I don't have the time to search around right now, but I recall reading a thread about the bed mount in that area vibrating enough to the point of wearing itself down, allowing the bed to bounce.

There were threads here about what is best described as possible shrinkage of the composite bed causing the bed bolts (even when tightened down) to not contact the bed floor, and allowed the bed to be loose enough to clank around.

I'd replace the hardware and install according to spec, and if it comes loose again I would check and see if you're having a similar issue.

I see these on a 2005 and such, but come on a 2013? I wouldn't think this would happen. UGH

I don't think it's a common issue, so I doubt they've made any changes between the 2005 and 2015 beds as far as composition and mounting.

I get the bolt going in from the top and threading into a nut. Do you know if this nut is a nut plate style?

Bed is the same. 2015s still have the same problems as 2005s, remember. Just not all of them.
