    Hey TW,

Trying to decide whether selling my 1st gen for a 2nd gen 4 door is logical...

    2001 Tacoma w/ 285,XXX miles (2nd Owner)

    - Top end rebuild @ 245,XXX miles (done at Capo Toyota)
    - New Toyota clutch replaces 283,XXX
    - New power steering pump 283,XXX
    - Fox 2.0 coilovers installed 284,XXX (Full Tilt Off-Road)
    - Fox 2.0 installed in rear 284,XXX (Full Tilt Off-Road)
    - Cobra CB w/ Firestik antennas & mount (Not in Picture)
    - TRD Rear diff installed by previous owner (I believe I have paperwork for it)
    - BFG KM2 265/75/R16
    - Snugtop Camper Shell
    - Toyota Rubber bed mat

Let me know what you guys think it's worth! Thanks for the input!

    Dylan

Is it for sale? If so, you need to post a price.

If it isn't for sale and is actually a "what is my truck worth?" then you've posted it in the wrong area.

There is no such thing as a feeler. It's either for sale or it isn't.

I want to know whats it's worth. Where should I post this? If I end up getting a reasonable offer I may sell it.

    First gen forum.

Then when it's for sale, you post it in the for sale section with a price OBO.

    It's a nice truck. @scocar has a similar rig he's wanting $13k for.

Mine's a V6, nearly half that mileage, and factory TRD.

Depends. Best bet is to check craigslist and NADA online, and see what your local market demand will support.

I'd say 5-6.6k depending on the area

It is not a question of what it is worth, but what would you have to have for it to sell it. You are not going to sell it if we say it is worth less than what you would be willing to sell it for.

I think you should trade me those fox coil overs for my spacer kit ;)

Good looking ride, I would keep it because you have obviously already put too much in it with the fox suspension. If you kept the stock suspension I would put it back on and ask 6.5k and accept nothing less than 6k. Like others said though it depends on where you live because this truck may fetch 8k in some markets but only 4k in others. The miles will scare most of your buyers off. Not that the motor is unreliable but a lot of stuff gets worn out over that period of time and miles.

IMHO, I wouldn't trade up to a second gen. These 1st gens are pretty damn reliable trucks(not saying second gens aren't reliable because they are. BUT, I firmly believe 1st gens can go much further. And I also think they look better.

depending on your area, and how that frame looks, I would say 5-7k to the right person. LOts of the correct things have been done already, most importantly that top end. BUT i wouldnt sell it, you can replace it for the cost of selling it. And first gens in nice condition are getting harder to come by. AT least in my area.
