I was waiting for the Backflip but went with the Flex. I've used Backflip before. The Flex is identical. The only difference I can see is the way it latches when flipped all the way back. I'm happy with it. It was easy to install and doesn't leak.

I just ordered a Bakflip F1 from Backfliptonneaucovers.com in Texas. They have part numbers for 5ft and 6 ft beds.

I ended up going with the Extang. Have had it installed for about 2 weeks. It was too cold to play with the hose that whole time but it warmed up and rained a bunch this weekend and the only place it leaks appreciably is at the front of the bed where the gaps are. It came with foam inserts for those gaps but it was cold so I didn't install them yet. I am really happy with the cover overall. Upon further reflection I think it is actually better for me than the bakflip. I am hopeful that it will be almost completely waterproof when I install the foam blocks.

I got mine from there too, awesome site. Make sure that you get the foam squares that are suppose to be included with the cover, they go on the ends of the top front bed rail to give it an additional seal. I know some guys were saying they didn't end up getting the squares. I like my solid fold so far lets in a little bit of rain at the joints but it also could just need some adjustment. 20151229_204921.jpg

Oh just saw your latest post haha...hey did you use the other set of brackets? And are your rear T-Handles really tight? Is there a way to put more leeway in them?

Yeah, I installed the foam blocks today when it finally stopped raining for a few hours. I didn't use the alternate brackets, just installed all the washers that came with it under the T-handles and then tightened them into the tie down channels. I think that it is not going to leak much of at all now that the blocks are in. I got it on a little crooked this time. I am thinking it would be best if I had some alignment marks to get it on straight and balanced every time.

The Receipt says ships in 3-5 business days. Other things state they expect them to be available on the 15th. I ordered late Friday so 5 business days would be the 15th!!!

SO now there are more sites inline with 2016 Tacoma Bakflip P/N's. Bakflip.com just came online with 2016 Tacoma. BakIndustries has not changed their website yet.
    Good hunting!

Since I last posted we have had a bit of rain with no leaking at all. Today I took it though the car wash and it was almost entirely dry with the exception of a few tiny drips on the cab end where there are still small holes even after installing the blocks. I did tighten down the cover significantly more on the second installation and I think that made a huge difference. We have also had a bunch of snow and freezing weather which meant that the seals have been frozen to the bed rails. They have mostly held up well with multiple openings when frozen but it did pull one of the seal sections off of one of the hinge sections. I snapped it back into place and it seems like it will stay put but it will be something I have to watch for to make sure I don't lose seal sections if it were to fall outside the truck when I am out and about. Overall, I am really satisfied with the cover. It is really easy to take it all the way off when I need the whole bed. One minor complaint is that opening it requires visiting both sides of the bed rather than pulling a quick release like the bakflip has and re-latching it means tugging on and seating the clips which is not as easy as it could be. This really isn't a major gripe, but is a point of comparison to other covers.
