Mferguson's 2011 Tacoma Build

How the truck sits as you read this...
2011 silver double cab TRD sport.
4wd 72,000 miles. Oil done every 4,000 with mobil 1 oil & filter.
Armor:
ARB front bumper
All pro off road rock sliders, bolted and welded on
Body armor rear bumper with tire carrier and jerry can mount
All pro pack rack, rotopax and hi lift mounted
front frame reinforcement

Pretty much stock besides aux light switches

Custom high clearance exhaust with magna flow muffler
Repairs (so far)
fried some idle pully's
water pump went at 21,000 miles
alternator at 70,000
got a branch stabbed through the headlight (similar to expedition overland's debacle but not as bad)
Recovery
Warn vr8000...Need more pulling power!!!
Wish List
- Front and rear ARB Air Lockers
- ARB twin air compressor
- 35's with body chop mod
- Decent set of headlights
- Bed cap now that I have an f250 to bring the bikes and quads around
- All pro dual swing out rear bumper
- Some sort of larger fuel tank... Any ideas?? Fuel cell in bed?? Any info will help!!

When I first picked it up
First got it to my house:
First mod was getting it leveled
Nervously parked it next to this princess
Rims, Tires & 50" curved light bar. Truck stayed this way for about 4 months while I found a new Job.





Then went to an ARB Front bumper

Got stuck on snowmobile trails and pulled out by snow cat... Guy wasn't to pleased


Decided to upgrade the suspension

Did some more serious wheeling with this setup:

Then finally switched over to Methods and the m/t's

Nice build and great pics too! I had to check it out since you have the same name as my husband, spelled the same even. We too had a silver DC 4x4, but '05. Now we have a silver crew max Tundra and love our All-Pro sliders and pack rack.
