I have a 4WD '07 Access Cab with 2.7 liter 5-speed and 165K miles. It's time to replace the u-joints so I bought two OE Toyota (Spicer) joints and crawled under the truck...only to discover there are three u-joints. D'oh! Wasn't counting on the front joint just after the driveshaft bolts to the transfer case. The u-joint at the carrier bearing and rear differential are the same part number. Anyone know if the front u-joint is the same as the other two? Since it's all apart, I'll go ahead and replace the carrier bearing as well, since there is an awful lot of play in it.
