Looking for some help to point me in the right direction I've been searching the forums all morning trying to find a thread where you can trick the locker ECU so you can run the locker in 2WD, 4HI, 4LOW. It was called the PIN 7 mod on the Land Cruiser FJ80 you basically pulled out a wire that returned the signal to the ECU took about 5 mins and worked flawlessly for 9 years. I'm looking to do the same with the 2013 Taco I'm building. My apologies for another thread on the subject I did a bunch of searching but I'm a newb to this forum. Not so much to Toyota's I've been building Toys for 20 years and wouldn't have anything else. Thanks in advance

I found this thread but personally would rather trick the ECU with a pulled wire opposed to cutting the harness. https://www.tacomaworld.com/threads/locker-anytime-mod-for-dummies-2005.353724/

There is the one wire mod.

The only side affect is that it throws a check engine code (4wd actuator) after a couple hundred feet or above a certain speed. A bluetooth obd reader to clear codes from my phone has solved that.

Thanks for the feedback gentleman is there a thread you can point me to that shows the wire that needs to be pulled. Check engine light won't bother me I'm used to driving 15, 20 & 30 year old Toys I keep an OBII scanner and jumper wire with me at all times :)
