    Hello All,

I just ran wires for my temperature mirror and I ran though the small hole in the grommet below all of the factory wires.

However now the little rubber nipple thing that was in the engine bay is missing. I think it got pulled into the hole and is there.

    My question is...
Will that cause me problems later down the road? Is water going to get into that or my cabin?

    Thank you!

Maybe. Put a dab of silicone sealant where the wire passes through and that should prevent water getting into the cabin.

I would definitely get a new rubber grommet or use some RTV.
