Does anyone know if the heated seats can be programed to turn off when you shut the truck off? I don't like how if you dont turn them off before you shut to truck off, they come back on when you start the truck. I hope that makes sense.

Ummm, this is super important to me... As they will stay on in the morning when you remote start your truck. I feel Toyota did it right.

First vehicle I've had where seat heaters weren't on analog switching (rocker, roller, etc) of some sort. Not surprised they work like analogs do.

Agreed. I prefer them this way. If your back and ass get too warm, clue in and turn them off.

Having them automatically heat up when you warm up your truck in the morning is priceless.

I dont but my wife seems to. I just dont like the passenger seat heater being on when it's not needed. Just dont know the long term effects on the leather.

I worry about the same stuff, but it does actually have a temp sensor built in. The seat will never get hot enough to do any damage. In my Avalon, if someone leaves the cooled seat on, it actually shuts off (the light stays on, but the fans turn off) when they get out of the seat. Fancy.

    Intake, exhaust, lift. Typical stuff.
I'm sure you can get creative with a custom circuit board. You have a weight sensor in the front seat to disable the passenger side air bag; I'm sure there is a way to make a custom circuit that shuts the heat warmer off if no one is sitting in the seat.

The switch is programmed exactly how it should be. For the most part, you want the settings to be "as-is" and not shut off each time. The biggest reason is for those who go for the remote start option. You want your heat (air) Settings and heated seat settings to be working when you start the truck remotely during the cold. The whole point is so that it all warms up BEFORE you get in.

    First world problems indeed! Lol

My Raptor always turns the heated seats off when the truck shuts down. I wish they would stay on for when I remote start it and thaw my seats at -40.
