I have a 13' Sport that I hought used I Oct. I was quite happy that the seat belt chime does not work for the drivers seat (does if a passenger doesn't buckle up).
Over Xmas I installed seat civers and removed the seats to make it easier. On the passenger side I unhooked 2 wire connections and rehooked them up when putting the seats back in.
On the drivers side there was 3 wire connections. A small, medium and large. Only the medium and large were hooked up when I took the seats out. (The small one is a black connector)
When I reinstalled the drivers seats I hooked up everything exactly as I found it. The drivers seat belt alarm still stays off:thumbsup: but now I'm wondering if that will affect my airbags in a crash.

I ma not sure but I would hook it back up I did when putting my seats back in from seat covers. They might have to do with the side air bags
