Don't normally do the whole intro thing but i said "what the hey..."

Been into toyota's and offroading since '04ish when I picked up a 89 truck that I cut up and welded on. Then switched to a 90 4runner for room for the kiddos, which I also cut up and welded on way to much. Was in the process of rebuilding a 3rz to put in the 4runner and said screw it I'm gonna get something new'ish and reliable.

Checked out a few tacomas and FJ's, but finally went ahead and pulled the trigger on a '06 TRD OR DCSB with the 6speed manual about a week ago and I have to say I LOVE it.

I'm having a hard time not modifying it right now but I'm trying to sell off all my other toyota parts and my old 4runner before sinking any real money into it.

Right now I'm leaning toward more of an expedition type build because I go camping a half dozen times a year in the mountains and hit up the beaches in OBX area as well.

Mod's that I'm thinking about and researching right now are:
Skids - Budbuilt(probably) - because he's semi local and I've had his skids before in the past.
Lift- Icon extended coilovers, TC UCA, APO expedition rear leafs, Icon rear shocks, ubolt flip, Wheelers bumpstops
    Rocksliders- Haven't decided yet
Wheels & Tires- I'm having hardest time with wheel sizes but nothing bigger than 33 until I have the coin to regear.
Front & rear bumper- Still undecided as well but ARB seems kinda standard for a front.
Blacking out headlights and grill area very soon.

That's the list so far but it seems to get longer the more I'm on this site.

    Anyways cheer's

That's cool man, not sure if you've seen it but I believe there's a central/Richmond thread in the southeast regional fourm.

How soon you think you're going to start doin stuff to your truck?

Looking to order lift and tires in a couple weeks but will probably order rocksliders and some skids at the end of this week. I have a winter camping trip I take up to GWNF at the end of every Feb and would like to have the new tires on by then.
