Some samples of paint work you've done would go a long way, also substantially more information would be beneficial.

    Good luck!

Look dude, Im really trying to give you a chance here. Maybe there is just a language barrier. And for what its worth your painted grill looks kind of sharp. Well done! And you sound like you have good intentions. But you are asking to work on other people's trucks that cost $20K, $30K, and more. So, it doesn't appear that you know whether you are working with laquer, enamel, or urethane. You don't know if its made by Sherwin, PPG, Duplicor, or Krylon. You don't say whether you use a rattle can outdoors in the dirt or a spray gun in a downdraft booth. Or understand that automotive paints are a coating system with multiple compatible components or the fundamentals of preping and coating bare ABS plastics. Or that 040 Superwhite is a single stage paint that not only does not require a clear coat but doesnt match well when one is applied. I could go on but maybe I am wrong and and just being a dick. I will be more than happy to apologize, and slink off into a quiet corner, and let your business venture here prosper, if you just show one indication that you actually know what you are doing.

He did nobody a disservice by making this thread.

I don't see the point in trying to make him look foolish, obviously he isn't running a custom paint shop, but not sure why he deserves to be belittled.
