As to CEL question, sometimes yes sometimes no. One can make adjustments so as to keep low end power minus one or both cats. I put on a long tube header, causing me to lose a cat, but I also went down in mandrel size after the cat and my low end is so much beefier it's a major turn-on. If your wife/gf has a cat, get rid of one or both of them. That's the only solution boys.

Only wheels and tires... For now... Muahahaha!!!
I'm thinkin I'll just buy a new front cat and get rid of the rear one. I've got an aero turbine 2525xl... I'm not trying to kill the tree's maaaaaan... I just don't have the dough for two new cats.

Lose the front cat. It is much much easier to do than losing the rear. Re-use your rear cat and spend the money you would have dropped on a cat on a new header. You're welcome:fistbump:
