    Hello everybody- need some help.

I have a 2013 TRD tacoma. I had HID's installed back in 2013 both headlights and fog lights when i bought my tacoma new. Never had any issues- till this past October. I'm in So Cal and we hardly have rain. We had a big rainstorm in October and I noticed my left side fog light had condensation- took to dealer and they replaced under good will even tho I have warranty etc. Now this winter we have El Nino coming and the first sign of rain and I noticed same fog light that was replaced had condensation! Took back to dealer- and they pretty much told me the seal on my HID light was bad- so i replaced the seal. The seal I took off didn't look bad, no tears etc. So we just had lots of rain today, when out to my truck and noticed condensation.

I find it hard to believe the dealer since my right side fog light has not had any issues and HID lights had all been installed at same time.

Has anyone had this issue? any suggestions? I dont want to replace the HID light as it works perfectly fine.

Its the HIDs for sure. I'd buy a cheap aftermarket fog, place the oem bulbs back in and call it a day.
They arent doing anything inside a fog light reflector anyway except for scattering light everywhere.

I'm guessing the seal around your HID bulb is not as thick as your OEM fog bulb.
Quick remedy if you HID is still operable is to remove seal from your OEM H11 bulb and swap with your HID bulb.
Should be orange or red in color.

So did the condensation go away on its own once you replaced the bulbs?
