I don't know if it helps anyone else but I thought I'd post this. I seem to break one of those plastic rivet / clips every time I pop a panel off, especially when it's cold out. While reupholstering the seat backs on my Access cab, I busted like 4 of them. It was really cold out and after hours when I put it all back together. Plus, I'm getting tired of spending money on these things. This time, I took the broken ones and secured them lightly with a pair of pliers. I drilled a small hole in them and ran a self tapping screw for metal studs into them. Voila. They are stronger than before and slide on and off like the unbroken ones. Hopefully this helps someone out. I'll be doing this from now on.IMAG0877.jpg

    The reason I pre-
They sure do. I bet I've broken a hundred over the years on various cars.

If anyone needs any clips/fasteners pm me. Im an industrial supplies sales rep and stock several dealerships(ford and toyota) with these types of clips and others...theyre dirt cheap (until the dealer sells them lol). We are a distributor for auveco who remanufactures all the clips and fasteners on cars/trucks(most makes).

Great idea, but if I keep a couple extras around, I'll never break one again. Lol

I may take you up on this if you don't upcharge the delivery fee like most online vendors. I need a few of the triangle ones that hold the overhead console or radio trim panel, some of the little ones that you push the center in on and then the ones that hold the factory wheel well flare in place.

I need a few of these as well. I have lost a few over the years when I have removed various panels.

Post some pictures of the clips you all are wanting along with any sizes you can...and I will look them up in the book tomorrow and post pricing on clips. Most of these would have to be sold by the box(5-25pcs typically).

Just to give you guys an idea, the ones I sell to OC Welch Ford, for panel fasteners typically range between $3-15/box depending on the type of fastener and qty.

License plate screws for Ford go for $8.78/50(only one I could think of off the top of my head) just to give you an idea.

I only need one or two of each so it probably makes more sense to just pay a buck or two each at the dealership. Thanks anyway.

I popped my back panel off again, broke two more. Ran a screw into them too. The ones I fixed with a 3¢ screw; still solid. Although, I am gonna keep you in mind Chris. Thanks for offering that up. I'll be in touch.
