4x4 also right? I rub at bump right now with 33s and 4.75 BS. Already got 35s for it but haven't gotten around to mounting nor cycling them.

You, have the Solo kit, correct? Have you cycled it to see if it gets the advertised 11.5"?

I work at SDHQ, but I have been posting here long before then.

I apologize if I came off abrasive, and the ocotillo comment was out of line, but understand i am 100% speaking from a "been there, done that" POV, and I was hoping that my pictures would help to convey that. Everything that you are talking about doing I have already done. I have run pretty much every configuration of front suspension in some form or another from spacers to a full width LT kit to get to where I am at now. The intention of what I am preaching is to help others avoid wasting the time and thousands of dollars that I did with setups that you will ultimately find to be inferior. You should keep in mind that in all normal circles a what you are running is a MID TRAVEL kit as in MID way between stock and long travel. For some reason that I will never understand in the Toyota world Mid travel has become stock arms and coilovers. I'm not bashing on your existing setup, if you like it and it works for you more power to you but in my humble opinion you're passing along misguided information.

    well said

not at all, I rub just as much in the front with my new wheels as I did with the 4.75 BS 0MM offset wheels I ran before. But now I have an extra Inch and a half between my rear shocks and my tires.

Well my glorified mid travel puts a big ass grin on my face and can take me most anywhere I want, and I don't have glass on my truck, which is also what I wanted. I love my truck for what it is, yeah maybe not the most worthwhile setup but didn't want to go stock length and be regretting it. I have more up travel and down travel than I did with my previous setup and it rides like butter. please keep telling me how lame my setup is

Anyways, it's just ridiculous how guys get bashed on here for their setups. Frickin stupid. I'm not trying to argue and say this kit is the best thing out there for these trucks. I'm saying it's the best for what I want it for and I did a shit ton of reading before I chose a 2+. And if you need to use your truck to pull, that's sorry as shit haha

Your worrying too much about what other people think. Stock travel, mid-travel, long travel, race truck =fun in the dirt. Its your truck and works well for you so enjoy it. Cheers Matt

Exactly, some people think my setup is lame, but who cares, that is their opinion and I have my own opinion, that is why its my truck! And your truck is looking sweet by the way

who would think that!?! you have pretty much the ideal concept of what a Toyota Prerunner should be. LT, Sprung Under and Caged, sounds like a recipe for success to me.

I cant recall anyone saying specifically that your truck was a pile of junk dude. You need to not take things so personally. The debate itself was about +2 kits in general and why in a general sense they are not worth it, not anyone specifics truck. If your +2 kit works for you that's great, but you cant expect to pass along poor information and not get called on it. This whole thing started with tire fitment questions and i chose to share some pictures from my personal experience that clearly proved the contrary to some bad information you were passing along...

I don't really understand the point of the bolded statement, but if it means anything to you the pictures I posted of my destroyed fenders with 35s and +2 MT were taken before your truck had even been built by Toyota. This is not my first rodeo, but I am always learning. Sometimes it pays to take a step back and listen to what people are saying before jumping to conclusions
