Has any had positive experience use Ferrite couplers or Beads for RF interference using LED or HID lights? I am trying to figure out if its worth the effort to use them or live with the annoying static from my lights.

Static where? They do reduce noise, but I'm only speaking from electronic testing applications.

Ferrites work where 2 wires are in close company to one another and one of them is noisy, like creating a field effect. Not sure where radio wires and fog wires would be in close proximity other than the fusebox. You could try replacing one of them with shielded cable in the same size also.

I was recommende by PIAA tech to try using the couplers after I reported to them about static noise on my radio after installing some of their LED lights on my truck, I was wondering if anyone has tried using them in association with the static problem and had success with them. or am I wasting money trying them. From what I am finding out after the fact is that LED bulbs and HID bulbs emit a RF frequency that will effect radio reception especially weaker stations, which to me is annoying and a subject that is not touched upon by sellers of these lights a lot.

Bought the Ferrite couplers at Radio Shack for $3.17 for 2 put them on the Pos. wire on both sides at the back of the Lamps>didn't do Jack, then wraped the Ferrite coupler around Pos. and Grd. wires at back of lamp didn't do Jack, so much for Ferrite Beads :notsure: sucks spending big money and time installing these lights and it fucks up the radio stations, cant have the lights on and listen to your favorite radio station without pffft zzzz pfft zzzt pffft. I don't want to tear the whole setup apart and send them back either. Also I had RIGID(USA made) SRM Driving LED driving lights on my old truck I don't remember any Radio static at all,now PIAA (Made in Taiwan) its pfft zzt pfft zzt
