Entune app logs out by itself during vehicle startup

I use a iPhone 6+ with iOS 9.2. My entune app says unable to connect to vehicle and backs out to a login screen. I can tell it to login and it does but then I'm driving with a tether error trying to use any app on the JBL entune dead unit. Also the read button is greyed out when recieving a text message. Can anyone tell me what I'm doing wrong. I have been a Toyota sales rep since 1996. The show notifications tab is on, in Bluetooth settings on the iPhone. Any ideas?

 

My app will also log me out at times and I'm not sure what causes it. For the read notifications button being greyed out I had the same issue. To fix it you need to remove the quick contacts option on the home screen. Change it to something else then remove your phone and then repair it back and don't forget to turn on the notification again after its paired again. Now don't add quick contacts and don't add that section back to your home screen. After that the read option will always work. Obviously some kind of bug when connecting but that works so I'll go with it.
