Bed 110 Outlet Install

Ive got a '15 PreRunner SR5 that does not have the bed outlet. I want to add it. Has anyone installed this? I can order it from eBay and can install it but haven't a clue on how to make it hot. Thanks.

 

You need an inverter.

 

Yes sir I realize that. I just don't know how to wire everything up. Is the bed prewired for it?

 

Don't know if the bed is prewired or not, or if the wires under the console are there.
By the time you go thru all the hassle of trying to get a stock outlet in the bed and the lack of being able to use it for anything but charging a phone, if needed, I would get a real inverter that plugs into the cig lighter and has much more power to use.
