Either you have the time and ability to do something yourself or you should expect to pay someone to do it for you. Simple as that. That's the way the world works. If everything should be done for free then none of us would have jobs.

U can buy MOST OEM accessories on Amazon for 40-50% below MSRP/Dealers....I bought my bed mat...Exhaust Tips...Tow package "plug"....and rear bed step from Amazon and saved a boat load....I had the step rails installed at the dealer (5inch black ovals) for cost $220 as per our agreement with the dealership....The rails would have cost me $450ish! IF u can do the work urself...Order off of Amazon and install them urself!

    I ordered:
    Bed Mat
    AW floor mats
    Mud Guards
    Door Sill Protectors

I researched what "wholesale" cost is on those items, allowed for a reasonable markup, and added that cost to the total deal on my truck. My sales person knew I researched the hell out of everything, and when I told her the accessories I wanted, and the price added onto the truck, she had no issues making it part of the deal.

Know what you want, know the cost. As long as you don't go into it blind and stick to your guns you won't get ripped off. You have the power to say "No", which means you have ALL the power. Don't be afraid to say no.
