6 speed got stuck in 6th gear

I was cruising on the freeway the other day and got on the off ramp pushed the clutch in and couldn't get out of 6th gear. So I stopped turned the truck off and pushed in the clutch a bunch of times and still would come out so I just beat the shit out of the shifter till eventually it broke free. Trans seemed to be okay, I drove it the next day and didn't get the problem again. I searched other threads that had broke or bent the shift fork and they seemed to never get it out of gear but I was wondering if this is a sign of failure and a sign to save for a t56?

URD Short Shifter
URD MK3 Stage 3
98,000 miles running redline mt90 gear oil

 

Nope, I think a bigger lift, larger tires, and possibly a super charger will fix it. Possibly nos kit would help. That is definitely what the Oem engineer planned when he drew up the 6 speed trans.

 

Already have the supercharger, you know I was thinking about moving to 37s and swapping my 7th injector to NOS, must be the trick

 

Maybe check that the short shift kit is ok??? I've heard of them breaking.
