The Taco was supposed to be for the wife, we just got a new house and needed a truck. We traded in the Fit, which she loved, and I thought we were fulfilling a dream she had of getting a red truck. It didn't take long for her to get used to it and she loved it, but she liked driving the xA with all of the TRD bits I had put on it even more....so now I drive the Taco and love it.

I had an FJ that made it through the DC blizzard of late VERY well but I only kept it for a year. Not practical enough for DC and carrying people and stuff around. STORMTROOPER got replaced with a twin turbo AWD BMW. A couple years later and the BMW is gone and replaced by another 4WD Toyota.

Since I've had the Taco (July 2014) I've kinda been surprised by the lack of little things a truck of this price should have. Why don't the windows have auto up/down on all of them? No interior or exterior temp? No auto lock on the doors? It's odd that the FJ would have these and the Taco doesn't.

Other than that though, the stock truck does everything I want it to. I just ordered a Leer XR100 cap and really don't have many plans for mods on this thing. I will black out the wheels, black out the grey plastic on the front bumper, and then paint the T on the grill a matching red to the truck. Maybe a bull/brush guard and a couple nerf bars but that will be it. And tint the front windows. Then that will be it...and maybe a supercharger when it is out of warrantee. Then maybe a 3" lift, but then THAT will be it....

    :)

    Thanks!

I checked out your lighting products, pretty cool! I dabble a bit with lighting and will be adding a couple 5050 strips in the cab after it is installed.
