Just got new mb 352 wheels with a tire rotation and now I have vibes between 50-70 mph. Does anyone know if I need hub centric rings with these wheels? Maybe vibes caused by the tire rotation, I do have some "cupping" on the tires but never had vibes before new rims and tire rotation.

Anyone know the bore diameter of these wheels? I can't find detailed specs of this wheel anywhere. Waiting on a email reply from mb wheels...

If the bore diameter is larger than 106 mm, then you should have hub centric rings. That could be the cause, or it could be a bad balance. A must when getting hub centric wheels balanced, is finding a shop that has a Hunter Road Force balancer, and a set of Haweka adapters. The adapters mount the wheel to the balancer via the lug holes the same way they would mount up to the vehicle.

Another little known method is to do a "Match Balance". This is done by matching the heavy spot on the wheel (where the valve stem is) to the light spot on the tire. The heavy/light spots on the tire are usually marked with red/yellow dots.

Just called discount tire. Wheel bore is 110mm so I need a 110-106 hub centric ring. They didn't have any so I just ordered off eBay for 20.00...fingers crossed.

I have these wheels and no issues. How many miles on current tires?

30,000 miles on current tires. Tires are cupped a little on outside shoulder of rear tires now (used to be front tires before rotation). I'm really thinking my problem is from the wheels not being hub centric though. Maybe you got lucky, I kinda think this is a hit or miss type situation.
