I had mine slip after a pretty aggressive trip off-road. After torquing them with a little bit of anger I've been able to beat on them pretty hard with no movement. My next "fix" would be to cut a piece of steel to insert between the balljoint shaft and the control arm. I currently have them set all the way out so it wouldn't be hard to reset them "if" they slipped.

Minor threadjack.... but I should be getting these installed tomorrow, with an alignment early next week. Total lift should be 2-2.5".

Could somebody give me the ideal alignment numbers I should be going for? Specifically caster. Everybody seems to go for 3.0, but could somebody tell me why?

And when does bump steer start to come into play?

Ideally you want at least 2.5 to 3 degrees caster. I'll get a link for you that may help you out:

Bumpsteer is bad when you don't have enough caster and is lessened when you have a proper amount from what I've thought.

    3" lift, 17" rims, 285/70/17 tires
Yeah, that's their fault. Although I don't completely trust that slot for off-road driving, It shouldn't move with normal driving and a properly torqued nut. I worry about it because we're all guilty of not doing regular inspections on our nuts and bolts like we should. If mine slips, with 285 tires, the end of the A-arm will rub deep into the tire and possibly cause a blow-out pretty quickly if I were traveling at interstate speeds.
