tires on stock rims

    Want to know what is the biggest tire size that,I,can put in my 04 prerunner with stock rims . At the moment am running 265 70 16 and want to put 285 70 16 please someone help

    First you'll need a lift. Then 1" spacers should work. But for future reference, we have a search button

    If you said what I think you said, a 265/75r16 is the biggest you can go with no lift and stock wheels.

    As said above, a lot of members here run 265/75R16 on stock rims. Any taller or wider on tire size runs the risk of rubbing. You really can't go any wider on stock rims because of back spacing.

    icon stage 10 kit, toytec 1" bl, 35" general x3s, 17x9.5 procomp wheels, locker anytime mod, s&b intake, blackhawk 2.1 tune,
    33x10.5-16 can fit stock rims with no lift after doing pinch weld mod. Itl still rub frame at full lock but its not bad.

    285-70-16 will fit but its really too wide (11.5") for the rim and you can experience some uneven wear. Seems some have gotten away without any issues (including me) but stick to 10.5" if you wana be safe.
