    -Wheelers doesn't sell wheels anymore.

-I've searched a ton and have only found old information on wheels that aren't manufactured anymore. No info on current model/series wheels.

-Steel or Alloy is fine, whichever is cheaper.

-Off road/rock crawler wheels that keep mud/dust off the brakes.

-I'd prefer not to run a spacer or grind the caliper.

-Stock 15" are okay but don't have enough backspace for different applications/lifts.

Really? No one out there has recently bought a set of 15" wheels for their 1st gen. and can vouch for fitment?

I ran the pre-2000 Tacoma alloy 15" wheels on my 2003. I was not a fan of the 16" late Tacoma wheels. I was only running a small increase of 31x10.5" tires, but the wheels clear and matched the truck much better.

Just go to discount tire direct, type in your info and everything that comes up in a 15" wheel will clear the calipers.
