Good evening, joined up to see wuz up with the 2016 Tacoma's. Trading my high mileage '93 Toy 4X2 PU in for a '16 TRD Sport.
I met a few young bucks at Gold Lake on the Tahoe/Plumas NF border this summer who were on a forum camping trip, half a dozen or so camping there, I had backpacked in for a couple nights.
Set to retire early at the end of March at the age of 62, single. I've a TRD Sport on order as of mid December, expected arrival end of Feb. V6, manual tranny, tow package, 6' bed, no short bed, need space to haul firewood. I collect old lanterns and backpacking/camping stoves. Currently have around 140 stoves and maybe 22 lanterns, going back to the 20's. A couple stoves can be dated at over 100 years old. If you're up in the Plumas NF of N Kalifornia, give a shout out, may come camp. I'm out most weekends year round. I was just up in Lassen Volcanic NP a week ago snow camping by myself. First pic is from a few weeks ago, car camping close to home. Down to the mid teens F that morning. Second pic from Lassen VNP a week ago, camped on a ridge. I've done a number of motorcycle trips with a friend over to the CA coast and other parts of Norcal. He likes to ride on back roads, twisties, getting away from traffic.

Thank you. Should add, my on order truck is a access cab, be nice to keep more stuff inside. Not crazy about all the electronics it comes with.
