    I share your concern, but on the other hand, nothing blew up, and people do make mistakes. On the grand scale of things, it was a small transgression. Don't forget, its the lowliest guy in the dealership, except for the detailers, that do oil changes. Some of these guys aren't geniuses, nor are they highly paid. But they give it their best.

    THIS^^^^ If everything else was fine (oil level, filter changed, etc) then this is a small mistake. Could easily be forgotten about while you're doing other things. Any kind of work done at a dealership is given x amount of time to do. Those guys can be on a tight schedule to get something done. Not that I'm "excusing" what was done, because that shouldn't happen. But a friendly reminder or concern should be said. I can't see raising a fit over this too much

    Yup, I've had some stupidity come out of dealership service bays, unfortunately it happens with all dealerships. Hats off to those of you who excused the mistake...but it's a fucking oil change?!? Time limit or not, this could have been avoided had the technician simply checked his work
