yes, both of those things I'm sure....but a bit smarter than when I was young.I let the machine do the work now.

True. I think some of the drivers salary has to do with their ability to not fuck up a multi million dollar car.

I'm pretty sure I spent several days learning the start/finish straight away into the hard right. I had my gear down into a perfect set up. I also used the joystick throttle/brake set up. Once I cleared that hard right I was usually several car lengths out.

Pinning on that left hand side was imperative, but if you didn't have enough speed those damn computer drivers would slam into you!

The hairpin was awful.

The tunnel was pretty legit though! You could fly through that tunnel, but that hard left into the square turn right was tough!

Well the Monaco circuit is actually public streets and they are used by the public even during the race weekend , and that section does go around the swimming pool added in the 70's

My pops drove manuals for ~50 years and just recently bought an auto, mainly because he deals with stop and go traffic 260 days out of the year, and I guess after driving the same route for 25 years he's had enough haha.
