Hey all I really want to pull the trigger on a 16 DCSB OR 4x4 AT but I'm concerned about the vibration issue ruining the truck. I see a lot of people happy with the truck, and I know someone personally who says he loves his 16 taco. So I'm making this poll to find out how many actually have that nasty vibration on their 16 tacoma, and hopefully this can help others get an idea of what trucks have it and which don't. Focusing on the auto not the manual transmission.

Edit: I added trim choices but now I can't remove the choice that doesn't include truck trim

This is going to be kinda biased. Vibest are usually 100 more prominent in lifted trucks. Are you planning to lift it? How high and how?

Apparently this is being investigated by Toyota and seems to be limited to the V6 models.

If youre leaving it stock, then what you test drive is what you get! See for yourself!

You didn't list TRD OR 4X4, and mine does not have any vibration.

Not necessarily; some have developed the vibration after a few hundred miles.

NP, I have over 8300 miles on her; mostly highway 90%, city 8%, and 2% in deep mud and off road .... LOL.

I have a 4x4 OR and I love the damned truck, but I do have the dreaded 15-25mph vibration, other than that and the trans being goofy on the highway, this is a phenomenal truck!

700mi on my sr5, have the vibration stock auto no lift. Had it in 4wd on a snowy day, put it in 2wd when I got to bare road and got a nasty vibration/groan that was constant on/off. Had it ever since then, just not as bad as the first time it happened. Gone in 4wd, there in 2wd. Its in the shop now for that and hood adhesive failure. Called dealer today for an update, said they haven't test drove it yet and will get to it Monday. Kind of pissed because I traded a badass Xterra for this big vibrator, hopefully they fix it. Nice truck and no complaints otherwise.
