2009 Tacoma Prerunner regular cab, bench, 5-speed.

I bought this truck new and intend on never selling it. Things are wearing out so this is a great opportunity to redo everything inside!

Need your help with ideas and sources for anything and everything interior.
I wish to go far more rugged and industrial/utilitarian than the OEM appointments.

    Priorities:

    1) My heel has worn through the floormat, carpet, and insulation and I'm at steel floorboard now. I wish to have a thick rubber, not foam rubber "carpet" cut in the proper shape. Or perhaps spray bed liner on the floor and rubber mats? Then what do I do with the under carpet wiring??

    2) Already replaced passenger visor and now drivers side has broken. ALSO COMPLETELY irritated at the rear view mirror always breaking. I wish to kill two birds with one stone and install one of those multi panel mirrors that are the width of the cab.
I wish to use the screw holes from the visor to mount it.

    3) Seats. Either going to have my local guy recover bench or I will replace it with aftermarket buckets. Need suggestions.

    4) Gauges, radio, aftermarket complete dash??

... Oh, and I will post pics of the project so perhaps it will be a help to others.

I would LineX the interior if you plan to take it to the grave.

Mirror it to your hearts content.

    Aftermarket buckets.

I wouldn't do a custom dash but I'd make it shiny and new.

    My man!

    Then you need nothing else!

Just joking... everything that @DCSBFTMFW mentioned...

There's a million write-ups on here concerning taking your gauges apart and doing different color LEDs or switching out the faces - whatever you want to do.

Concerning a radio, that depends on what type of functionality you want. There's a lot of different directions you could go with that.

    Also, :worthless:

I've got a gun to spray in liner but don't know what to do with the wires, They've got to be protected somehow.
