Long story short, I have been on these forums browsing and reading quite a few threads over the past few months. I have posted my Tacoma for sale, but have since been debating on keeping it. If I keep it I want to install a suspension lift to replace the current 3"/1" spacer lifts that the dealer installed. The current tires/wheels are 295/55/20 Toyo OC MT's and I am not sure if they had to do any trimming to fit them. They do not rub at all. I was hoping someone could lead me in the right direction with about an $1,800 budget to get a lift that will allow me to keep these tires. Brother has a car lift so install shouldn't be a problem.

    Thanks in advance.

Honestly, do yourself a favor before anyone jumps down your back for not searching for the same question using the search button (there are thousands of them.) Call Marie at www.headstrongoffroad.com and she wi) steer you right for your rig.

With $1800 you could get a decent pair of aftermarket coilovers and some SPC control arms plus a 3-leaf AAL in the back. It will drive AND perform much better than it does currently.

I just did my 2013 DCLB Sport. I read countless posts, what one person days is great another will say it sucks. I did take into account all the information on cv angle, the need for UCAs at or after 3", etc. I ended up getting a 2" Old Man Emu lift with 885 springs and their rear add a leaf, I then splurged for some TRD wheels and Hankook 265/70 R17's. It was all pricey but worth it. The truck actually handles better and that slight vibration on hard acceleration from a stop is gone. I really should have done the lift much earlier but at least it's all done now.
