2012 Tacoma detailed audio wiring identification

    2012 Tacoma Access Cab
    I am seeking help identifying an additional group of wires that are not part of the basic harness. I am installing an Pioneer aftermarket HU replacing stock 89120-04250. All of the common items are connected and working fine. The mystery is a third 20 pin connection that is in the truck and was connected to the stock radio. I have no idea what it does and it has very few wires actually connected to it. The one thing I would like to find is a way to dim my aftermarket display with the rest of the instruments. I assume this is "illumination control" and there is an orange/white wire on the basic main connector but everything I find online says "not used" as the label. Looking for advice.

    Supreme Suspension 3" front lift, T-Rex billet grill, Cree aux. LED backup lights, WeatherTech floor mats, window and hood deflectors, LED interior lights, Pro Comp wheels, Redline hood struts, stainless side steps, LED light bar in grill
    Not sure which connector you're referring to but it could be the harness that goes to your steering wheel controls. I have the Pioneer AVIC 7100NEX and illumination I believe is controlled within the HU settings.
