haha been riding sans shocks since August, the expos are pretty darn stout so it hasn't been too bad limping around just as long as I'm not hauling anything. But when I am, it would appear there's a ghost orgy back there.

Next weekend I'll finally tackle the flip, then she gets a long overdue welder appointment for the relocate.
Rear Setup: AP Expos, Bamf relocate, Fox 12's, ATO flip/HD shackles.

There are some awesome space saver cages out there. The one @jeffz0rz did on @Evenflow linked rear is amazing. So clean and functional.

Just checked it out and damn that's clean. I'm probably going to build a bed rack soon and may just build it into a bed cage and go ahead and shove some 14's in there

Out of curiosity, any of you 2nd gen guys broken down an expo pack and measured actual travel?

Are they really pulling around 12" of travel. Seems like if the shock is only limiting out on droop, it's more of a shock placement issue with the stock mounts.

Full droop the leaf pack is good for at least 2-3 more inches of downtravel than the shock allows, and at ride height I've got about 6inches, maybe more before I hit the bumpstops, along with the few inches the shock is already compressed. Next weekend I'll get my truck on stands and measure out for sure but I'm willing to bet the leaf packs will pull at least 12" of travel. Maybe a little bit more.

Or maybe @allpro can chime in on this, I'm sure they have travel numbers hidden somewhere.

Awesome. We were just wondering max travel numbers of the expo leafs on the 2nd gens if the shock isn't limiting travel.

Holy fawk ! So I took my truck up to Tahoe for the first time since I've had the +2 kit and the Nitto Trail Graps and 2 lessons learned this weekend :

    1. Putting my fkn brake dust shield back on as soon as I get home, my brakes turned to absolutely scary shit out in the open in rain / snow and cold weather.

    2. Trail Graps are total and complete Shiiiiiiit in the snow....scary as fook....driving like a granny with a death grip on the wheel.

Did you pass me going up the pass?

My brakes were fine without shields. My Toyo AT2 did really well too.
