Just some 35% tint to match the rears and some 285/70/17 Falkens…
I actually thought that Toyota did a decent job with the front plate mount this time. In the past, they drilled two holes into your bumper. I wasn't a fan of that at all...

Speedo will show ur going about 1 mph slower for every 30 mph for 1 inch taller tires. So if your speedo show ur goin. 60, it exact ally 62.

I'm in law enforcement. I can tell you for a fact that the tires I put on made ZERO difference in regards to speedo error.

Thanks. I'd say on a luxury truck....sure...but an off-road truck....not so much. I left parts of the grille chrome. I agree a little bit looks good...but it looked like a truck with braces. Lol

Unless you're an engineer.. I beg to differ.

Unless your engineer brain is more dependable than a $2,500 laser, I beg to differ. Furthermore, unlike an engineer, I can tell you for a fact that the .02 MPH difference it might make isn't going to be a factor in whether you get a ticket or a warning.

I meant 2mph not .02 for 1 inch taller. For some on this thread wanting 33" tires, it can be 6mph off at 60mph. I found this to be true because my commute used to be 23 miles. After putting on larger tires, the odometer dropped to 20. Just saying boss. For the rest of you, just google it :)

Yeah my upgraded tires were minimal...says 2mph difference at 65 mph acc'd to that chart, but I checked it with a laser and it didn't make a difference. I drive slow anyways. I'm old. Lol

The largest you can go with 17s are 265x70. This also depends on the offset of your new rims. My 17x7 with 11mm offset was just fine, but when I added 1in spidertrax, it rubbed.

Don't get me wrong dude. You got a sweet truck. I ended up with an Mgm Trd OR myself, but I certainly wouldn't mind having a nice white one with them trd pro wheels. I dig that. You got the right tires too. I build Goodyear tires for a living but I'll still be the first to admit that those BFGs rock.

Yeah the white n black contrast is boring but different at the same time. Thanks. Yeah, it's amazing what wheels do for one of these trucks. What's an "Mgm"? Sorry, I'm not up on all the abbreviations. Lol

Magnetic gray metallic. That's what Toyota calls their gunmetal color. And no worries. I see Abbreviations on here all the time that stump me haha. When I first started coming here people were talking about dclb trdor mgm taco ftmfw imho or whatever. Sometimes it's like a crypto puzzle.

Gotcha! Yeah I bet that's a sharp color. These Tacomas are really well-designed trucks. I'm impressed...

Also, got these vinyl decals off of EBay (high quality). Had them put on by a place that does decaling because it was cold, etc. I didn't want any air bubbles, etc. $40 investment parts and labor...TacoRearDecals.jpg
