I have a clunking in the front end of my truck.

The clunking is typically when I'm slowing down and it only shows up from 25-10 MPH and disappears. I thought at first it was from the recall for the ball joint they had done. So I brought it back and they re torqued everything in the passenger side front end. The noise is still there. Does anyone have any clue what could be wrong?

Maybe your bushings. Or your coils. Or tie rods. I think my lower control arms were making a clunking until I replaced them. Not really a metal clunk but like a pop. And creaking over bumps. If it's a metal type clunk I would guess your coils. Or something with the suspension anyways. Idk. I'm terrible at diagnosing.

Well I forgot to mention, the sound goes with the speed of the truck. If I'm going 25 mph the sound repeats very fast, if I'm going 15 mph the sound repeats slower

Idk mang. That changes things. In these cases, trying to diagnose a noise, is very hard for anyone to figure out. Your clunking is gonna be a different version than what we might think a clunk sounds like. To me a clunk is an occasion "thud" or loud "pop" that can be felt, not just heard. And would probably be suspension related in that case. But you mentioned ball joint so I assumed... Best to be as descriptive as possible with noises. Any more details? Is it like a slight tapping/popping/tinging/pinging/clicking/etc? Maybe someone will chime in with better ideas for ya though. Because like I said, I'm still not great at diagnosing myself period. Heh. But just trying to help you help others get a better idea;) If all else fails, a sound clip/video would be your best bet, if at all possible. If you can't hear it in cab, I'd go as far as strapping your phone down under there somewhere, ha. I took vids of my engine noise(screaching/rattling sound) I had and no one was set on what it was. Turned out to be my water pump that failed later while driving, when everyone thought it was the clutch fan or exterior engine related. So I know how annoying strange noises can be when you have no clue what it is.

ANYWAYS... try and get us a sound clip;)

I'll get a video tomorrow for sure! It's more of a tapping I guess.
