Just answered a kind of lengthy survey on mid-size trucks. I had to pledge confidentiality but based on the ?s I suspect we will be seeing some changes to the Tacoma.

 

What sort of changes? A 3.5L V6, 6spd auto, and a mild body redesign with a huge grille?

Like I said I had to pledge confidentiality. I do not want to screw up getting paid.

 

Big stuff like new colors? Black chrome emblems option? Factory leveling lift? Never mind. I know it's a secret. Plus, you can't tell what you don't actually know. 'Cause then it's just rumor.......

I will bet this....... the truck won't become smaller. Or less expensive. Or less gee-whiz stuff.

I mean, you already came in here and told us big changes are coming to the Taco based on the survey lol. One can pretty well deduce what type of questions there were on there.

You may as well spill the beans - you have sucked at confidentiality so far.

 

But did you pledge to not disclose your ANSWERS?

How about:
1) Power Seats
2) Power sliding rear window
3) Rear disc brakes
4)...?

Enquiring minds want to know!

 

1 & 2. I think the driving factor here is competition in mid size group will be growing. Ford and Jeep in 2018 and I would guess Koreans too. You know they will be packing on the technical crap. Hopefully competition will keep prices in line but market economics will determine that. People seem willing to pay for crap like LED light strips.

 

Them ARE big changes.

Lets see:
#4. Heated mirrors.
#5. Diesel. (hehehehe)
#6. Multi-link / coil rear suspension
