Strap on your seatbelt...shits about to get real real and you may end up on the Sunday night dinner plate. :hungry:

I like the camera, but then again this is my first vehicle to ever have one so I don't have a comparison. What were you looking for this one to do?

    BTW...welcome.

mats, flaps, and stickers. Extang solid fold 2.0. Mobtown sliders and full skids. AVS vents
I personally think one view and the mirrors is plenty.

I miss it in the rear view like my 09 had it. I still forget to look at it. I know that doesn't answer your "how come" question but who comes here for answers, ama-right?

I got use to the one in the mirror with the 09 I use to have but it was quite a small image. One you get use to looking at the nice screen on the dash.... much better quality image and much larger.

I really like the backup cam but in using the mirrors for so long I still find myself
using them as opposed to the cam, at this point, I just can't rely on the cam, o_O the
use of the mirrors is just too ingrained at this point.

It's a useless piece of crap up in the Great White North... always covered with snow or crap... can't see a damn thing...!! I use the mirrors... they work... Maybe the camera should have a squirter thingy to clean the lens for those who use them... Another mod..??

The Only usable camera in my wife's CRV is the wide angle. The Tacoma camera is also a wide angle.

I feel old now. My first car was a Ford Escort with mt, no ac and no power anything, not even steering.

Same here. I really only use the camera when I am backing into a parking spot or out of my garage.
